FindACase is designed for use by non-lawyers. Some attorneys may see it as a little learning being a dangerous thing; others, as beneficial in educating potential clients about their cases.

Unlike VersusLaw, FindACase does not contatin certain elements, such as the citation or docket number of the displayed case, although internally cited citations and docket numbers are available within the text of the document. Searchers can find a document using a citation or a docket number, but those elements will not be displayed within the document.

Even if there are reservations about its usage for clients, it certainly has uses for students, libraries and activists, Given that VersusLaw begins at $13.95 a month for it's standard plan, it's an option for everyone else who sees the bills from the larger case law research services as prohibititve.
