Disability Rights — ADA — United States

Disability Rights United States expert witnesses provide opinions on disability compliance in public accommodations, employment and transportation by private entities open to the public and by employers, in goods and services, both physical and digital. The disability rights experts profiled in this directory may opine on employment issues, provide reviews of essential functions of job descriptions and written opinions on employers’ reasonable workplace accommodations, undue hardships and other issues under the Title I of the federal Americans with Disabilities Act ADA). These experts may also testify in matters of alleged discriminatory procedures or policies in housing (eg: the Fair Housing Act) and public accommodations (eg: restaurants/airlines and service animals). These disability rights experts may also provide opinions in digital access issues such as website accessibility and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, “WCAG” under the ADA. Experts in the rights of the disabled may also testify on damage awards for unintentional, inadvertent or minor violations of disability rights rules under state and federal law (eg: California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act and CDPA, the ADA, etc.) and enforcement actions.
See also Disabled Access for those experts in building and facilities compliance with disability rights.
