Police Procedures — Florida
Police procedures Florida expert witnesses provide opinions on claims of police officers, departments or agencies violating generally accepted policing standards as well as those procedures specific to individual police departments and agencies. Claims against police officers and departments commonly include issues of failing to follow procedures, including lack of probable cause for making an arrest (eg: false arrest) and persons being targeted out of malice. These issues of police procedures may also include claims of civil rights violations in accusations of police repeatedly harassing or threatening innocent persons, including use of social media. Claims of procedural violations often stem from issues that arise while an individual is in the custody of police, including coercion of confessions, threatening or beating those in custody or otherwise violating their rights. Issues of police procedures can also include excessive force, and for those issues, please see our use-of-force expert witness category.- United States
