Design Engineering California expert witnesses provide opinions on a broad range of litigation matters: defective designs, negligent designs, unreasonably dangerous designs, defective products, manufacturing processes and product designs, including analysis for design flaws and the failure to correct such flaws, tooling issues, packaging, and manufacturing fixture issues. The design engineers profiled in this directory may opine on scientific and mathematical techniques used in the design of products and processes, the use of engineering physics and science in product process and development, including the use of computer-aided design (CAD) and solid modeling software. These design engineers may provide written opinions on product prototyping (including virtual prototyping, “alpha” prototypes and “beta” pre-production prototypes) and production, product models, functional and non-functional prototypes.
