Valuation Analysis
Valuation Analysis expert witnesses provide opinions on the worth of assets (eg: business, equity, fixed income security, commodity, real estate), key issues surrounding valuation methodologies and models, and the underlying assumptions of valuations.
The Valuation Analysis experts profiled in this directory may also review adverse experts’ opinions, including such issues as estimated growth rates, management projections and inadequately similar “comparables.”
These experts may testify as to the standards used in implementing valuation methodologies and their reliability, and the appropriate inputs for specific methodologies. As well, they may provide opinions on management projections and future performance of assets, the use of comparable assets/companies or transactions and their similarity or dissimilarity to the assets being valued.
Certified Valuation Analysts (CVA) listed here may testify as to the reliability of economic and industry data used in valuation reports and their conformity with applicable standards, including those of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA).
