Weapons Florida expert witnesses provide opinions on and forensic examinations of non-lethal and deadly weapons used for defense and in assaults. The weapons professionals profiled in this directory may have specific expertise in the use of weapons by police (eg: police batons) and others used by both police and individuals in self-defense such as sprays (eg: mace and pepper sprays), conducted energy weapons (CEW), electrical-discharge weapons (EDW), electronic control devices (ECD), and other “Taser” like weapons. These experts may have special expertise in knives and other bladed weapons, including switchblades, fixed blades, bayonets, machetes, swords, axes and hatchets, or in martial arts weapons, medieval weapons (maces), and hunting weapons (crossbows).
