Inadequate and Negligent Security expert witnesses provide opinions on liability issues related to third party criminal acts against visitors and customers of businesses and property owners, including alleged failure to implement reasonable security measures to prevent foreseeable crimes. These experts may provide security reviews and reports on internal and external security policies and systems, employee security (eg: background checks; suspicious activity) and administrative duties, reports on criminal activity on or near the premises, as well as opining on local and business sector security standards, lighting adequacy, perimeter protection, security guards, property maintenance, and prior crimes in the vicinity. These security protection professionals may provide security surveys and security risk assessments, security personnel reviews, site inspections, and reviews of premises policies and procedures, and written expert witness opinions regarding alleged negligent security and alleged inadequate security.
