Bass Weather Services provides specialized and tailored services in expert witness testimony, fact witness, and weather forensics, with an emphasis on meteorological investigations of accidents and incidents where weather may have been a factor. Other areas of expertise include weather forecasts for agriculture and construction, emergency management preparation and simulations, accident prevention, environmental investigation and evaluation, and business consulting for industry and corporations. Randall Bass has over 33 years of experience in operational weather forecasting, weather research, and weather forensics in the military, government and private sectors. He has broad knowledge and experience in aviation, forensics, severe weather, space weather, and atmospheric processes. A key strength is his ability to translate highly scientific information into easy-to-understand terms. He earned the Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM) designation by the American Meteorological Society (AMS) in 2014. The CCM is issued by the AMS to highly qualified meteorologists providing research and services to a wide variety of users of weather information. It's granted only to those who demonstrate a broad background in meteorology together with detailed knowledge in a particular field of specialization. There are less than 300 certified meteorologists in the United States at the present time. Bass Weather Services is a veteran owned and operated company.
