Carl Weil has done risk management on over 3,000 outdoor businesses in the US, Canada and abroad as a risk manager and insurance program designer. He frequently is asked to consult on Archery, Camps, Camp Skills, Equine, Guiding, Livestock, Horses, Hunting, Outdoor Recreation, Ranching — both guest and working, Resorts, Rope courses, Rock Climbing — gyms and out of doors, cases involving Shotguns,  Pistols and Rifles. He has earned many credentials helpful to his 40+ years of expert witness work. He earned the first Master Fellow degree in Wilderness Medicine. This degree helps him with depth of understanding in much of the recreational industry that few have.

He grew up on a family ranch in the Colorado Mountains and is a third generation guide. He has authored 5 books and over 24  peer reviewed and non peer reviewed publications He has been accepted as an expert witness in civil and criminal cases. He has worked on over 300 cases in 39 states and out of the USA. He is experienced at virtual case reviews. He is an experienced public speaker who has unique knowledge and experience with Archery, Camps, Climbing and Horse activities.
