Cataract Eye Center, Corrective Eye Center

The Cataract Eye Center of Cleveland , Inc. ("CEC"), a PC, was founded in 1985 by Samuel M. Salamon MD FRCSC FACS. Over the years, multiple offices and physicians have been added to create a single-specialty ophthalmology practice, specializing in state of the art cataract surgery. Our practice owns an eyes-only ASC. Our services include, besides cataract surgery, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, eyelid repair, corneal transplantation, Botox, Intacs for keratoconus/corneal ectasia, etc. Many thousands of patients  have had surgical procedures at CEC, which serves all of Northeast Ohio.
 
Dr Salamon has reviewed and testified, for both plaintiff and defendant, in dozens of cases over the years, totaling hundreds over the decades.
 
Prior to practicing in Cleveland, Dr Salamon held an academic appointment at the Univ. of Alabama School of Medicine at Birmingham and at the Eye Foundation Hospital, specializing in corneal disease and cataract surgery. He has been licensed in NY PA AL,  currently in OH, and has reviewed cases from all over the U.S.
