Mr. Darrell Hanecki, P.E. provides a broad scope of engineering expertise.  Areas of experience/training/education include forensic, geotechnical, construction materials, general civil and structural engineering.  More than 35 years of experience, evaluating thousands of sites and damaged structures, has equipped Mr. Hanecki with a formidible range of expertise.  Forensic analysis is a multi-discipline endeavor, requiring broad experience in numerous facets of engineering.  The difference between  by material failure, subsidence, and structural design or site design deficiencies isn't necessarily apparent.  Severe cracking in a structure could result from overloading, material failure, inadequate foundation design/construction, structural design deficiency, erosion and improper grading, assembly error, and plumbing failure, to name only a few of the possibilities.  Consequently, professional forensics necessitates broad experience, training and education.   As the adage says, "When the only tool is a hammer, every problem will look like a nail."
