With over 30 past and present forensic construction case assignments in 15 Jurisdictions and 5 States on the East Coast, Mr. Chase was the former long-term President and CEO of one of the largest architectural firms in the USA,receiving his Masters at Columbia University. Over the course of his 50 year career, he has personally been responsible for over $1 billion of constructed projects, as designer, specifier, project manager, architect-of-record or principal-in-charge of small and large complex projects.

Based on this foundation of technical and practical experience, Mr. Chase has participated as an expert witness in forensic construction assignments for plaintiffs, defendants and carriers in a variety of matters including contract disputes, betterment matters, ADA Accessibility Guidelines, insurance matters, standard of care, schedule delay, construction defects, building envelopes, water intrusion, mold, errors and omissions and Florida 718 Statutes for condominiums regarding Converter and Statutory Reserves. In addition, he has mediated assignments in foreclosure matters and arbitrated warranty and construction claims.

Licensed in 20 states and currently practicing architecture in Florida, Mr. Chase has designed and completed project types in education, stadium, criminal justice, housing (senior, assisted living, public, multi-family and single detached), health care, commercial, hospitality and retail facilities. Also, his specific forensic expertise in construction encompasses negotiating, authoring and administering design-bid-build, design-build, construction manager-at-risk, fast-track, fixed price, bridging, sole source and private/government contracts.
