I have been a customer of The Jewelry Appraiser for ten years and I would not think of using anyone else. I had an absolutely fantastic experience getting my engagement ring appraised. Deborah was welcoming, and genuinely delightful to work with. She LOVES what she does and is so PASSIONATE. I recently went to Deborah to have my engagement ring appraised and was more than happy! Aside from having well known jewelers recommend her, having the word of mouth recommendations from friends was very reasurring; especially for never having had jewelry appraised before. Having been referred and recommended to Deborah, I was hoping I would be in good hands, but boy was I blown away. Deborah's service was incredible and she was a pleasure to work with, she not only told me details about the diamond, ring, but also explained how it was made and why things (prong placement and metal around pave diamonds) were done certain ways; she also recommended avoiding common cleaning products and explained how to keep it in the best shape possible. We had a family heirloom, a large jade piece & had no idea of its worth. We found Deborah and she was able to come over and assess the value of the piece. Appraisers who can do in home visits are not that common and the visit was priced extremely fairly.
