Denise L. Dougherty, Speech Pathologist, MA, CCC-SLP

Denise maintains a private practice in Indiana, PA providing evaluations and therapy for children and adults.  She is a legal consultant/expert witness in wrongful death/negligence lawsuits involving dysphagia and speech language disorders.  Denise is a co-editor of Private Practice Essentials: A Practical Guide for Speech-Language Pathologists, published by ASHA Press.  She serves as instructor for several seminar companies providing continuing education around the United States.  She is a past president of the American Academy of Private Practice in Speech Pathology and Audiology and serves on the Technical Experts Panel for Quality of Insights of Pennsylvania working on quality measures for CMS.
