Dennis M. Giuffré founded Econalysis® Consulting in Houston, Texas, providing economics consulting and expert services, having undertaken such services over a broad and diverse array of industries and markets, in private practice since 1978, and previously, with the consulting firms, Allstates Engineering Company, and Equitable Environmental Health, Inc.
Giuffré has been retained in numerous and various matters of litigation as a consultant and expert witness, speaking to the issue of damages, and to related economics and technical matters. He has been retained by both plaintiffs and defendants, and has rendered testimony in federal and state courts, and in arbitration.
Services provided include: Damages expert services, economics consulting, forensic economics, business economics, lost profits analysis, reasonable royalty analysis, lost personal earnings, business evaluations, closely held securities evaluations, fair market price or value analysis, environmental and regulatory economics, insurance claims loss analysis, and other economics and technical assessments.

The products, services, industries, natural resources, and markets involved in analyses of damages have been diverse, including: Oil and gas production, field equipment, and services, manufacturing and processing, automotive products, construction products and services, household and personal products, sports equipment, entertainment and amusements, medical services and devices, dental services, communication products and services, transportation services, agricultural products and fisheries, and numerous others.
Giuffré has also consulted economic analyses in engagements in which litigation is not contemplated, including: Market research, pro forma capital project evaluations, property losses, business profitability impacts, and personal losses, due to wind, flood, and fire.
Giuffré holds a MS degree in Economics from the Arizona State University, a MS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado, and a BSChE degree from The University of Texas. He also attended the Graduate School at the University of Houston, undertaking diverse studies, including economics, finance, biochemistry, marine biology, ecology, psychology, and others.
His field of specialization in the science of Economics is Industrial Organization and Public Policy, as may also be characterized as applied microeconomics. The focus of analysis is the individual, the household, the business firm, the industry, the market, and the legal and regulatory constraints within which such entities may operate.
Prior to a consulting career, Giuffré engaged in subsurface research at Texaco, Inc., corporate planning and development at the Gulf Oil Corporation, process engineering and design at the Petro-Tex Chemical Corporation, engineering at the Olin Corporation, and economics and engineering with the Texas Air Control Board. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
