Dr. Locasto is an experienced Emergency Medicine physician with over 40 years of experience in EMS and Emergency Medicine. He was an EMT/paramedic from 1983 through 2000 when he started his Emergency Medicine Residency. After Residency he completed a fellowship in Emergency Medical Services Medicine. He is Board certified in Emergency Medicine and EMS. He has numerous years of expert witness experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Over 46 cases since 2016, deposed 7 times.
Has served as Medical Director for over 15 fire service based EMS systems over the past 22 years, including one large city service for 17 years. Teaches EMS on the monthly basis. Provides field supervision/response on the monthly basis.
Has worked with top level Federal agencies regarding EMS issues. Currently chairman of the regional Emergency and Disaster Services and Prehospital Care committee of the Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati.
Performs EMS System consultation with Kramer and Associates.
