Don Redl is a Board Certified Investigator with licensure in New York, Florida, and Wyoming, bringing over 30 years of experience as a New York State DCJS Certified Firearms Instructor (FA), General Topics / Use-of-Force Instructor (GT), and an expert in Scenario-Based Force-on-Force and Active Shooter Response Training.
Don holds the rating of Stock Service Pistol Master from the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) and multiple instructor credentials from the National Rifle Association, including: NRA Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer, NRA Instructor in Pistol, Personal Protection, and Firearm Safety. He is also a past first-place finisher at the prestigious National Tactical Invitational.
A three-time published author: Get Off The X 2017, Fighting Handgun 2019, Force-on-Force 2022, and nationally recognized speaker, Don has presented on critical topics such as: Use-of-Force, Firearms and Training Methodology, Force-on-Force & Airsoft Training Accidents, Situational Awareness and Negligent Security & Security Operations.
