Dr. Tony Nettleman is a full-time practicing Expert Witness, Land Surveyor, Author, Speaker, Educator and Attorney, who has been practicing for over 20 years. Tony holds a BS, MS, PhD and a law degree. Tony is currently the Director of the Nettleman Institute of Surveying Engineering Technology, the President/Owner of Nettleman Land Consultants, Inc., and the CEO of NLC Test Prep. Tony is licensed as a surveyor in Alabama, Florida, Texas, California, New Mexico, South Dakota, West Virginia, Nevada, Ohio, and Kentucky.
Tony regularly testifies in court proceedings regarding land surveyor standards of care, boundary disputes, easement, water rights disputes, and other surveying-related matters. Tony has been retained as an expert witness in dozens of court cases nationwide. Tony and his entire team at Nettleman Land Consultants, Inc. serve as a partner to efficiently resolve any land disputes using their depth of surveying knowledge, commitment to the objective truth, and professional credibility.
Additionally, Tony is the author or co-author of several surveying related reference publications, including Clark on Surveying and Boundaries, Evidence and Procedure for Boundary Location, and Brown's Boundary Control and Legal Principles. These texts have been collectively cited in over 200 court decisions throughout the United States. Tony has also authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and other publications.
