Dr. Duane Priddy — Plastic Failure Labs

Dr. Duane Priddy is the founder and CEO of Plastic Failure Labs. He spent many years as a Principal Scientist for Dow Plastics. He has over 40 years experience with chemical and plastics manufacture. Dr. Priddy is a world renowned scientist and author as evidenced by his recent appearance on CBS 60 Minutes as a Plastics Expert and his many awards including Dow's PS Business Lifetime Achievement Award and was awarded “Fellow” by The Society of Plastics Engineers and "Fellow" by the Polymeric Materials Div. of the American Chemical Society. He is a member of the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, the National Association of Subrogation Professionals, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, Society of Automotive Engineers, and the Failure Analysis Division of the Society of Plastics Engineers. Dr. Priddy has provided expert services in over 150 litigations involving plastics. He is considered to be one of the leading CPVC, PVC, PP-R, and PEX pipe failure experts in the world. Dr. Priddy has authored >100 scientific papers, >60 US Patents, a book entitled “Modern Styrenic Plastics”, several encyclopedia articles on chemicals and plastics.
