Areas of Expertise: Forensic Accounting
Corporate Sciences, Inc. is a team of highly regarded economists, accountants and financial services professionals providing complex damages analysis and expert testimonial services for some of the nation's largest law firms and most complex litigation cases. The firm is headed by Dr. Joseph “Jay” D'Antoni whose academic and world-wide testimonial experience has spanned over 45 years with over 300 trials throughout this country and in many foreign court venues. Based in Pasadena, California the firm responds to cases throughout the country using the most advanced research modeling and testing techniques, when required, to support their expert opinions. CSI was founded by Dr. D'Antoni in 2001 after a distinguished academic career on the faculty of three major universities and spending 12 years heading the litigation practices of two major international accounting firms.
CSI is sensitive to clients' needs basing its opinions on carefully reasoned impartial and objective analysis of case facts, research and assumptions and data being analyzed. Its strong reputation for objective analysis and the ability to explain complex financial concepts and computations are reasons why CSI services have been retained roughly half Plaintiff counsel and half by Defense counsel. The firm's strong reputation of successful cases is also a reason why it has been retained by many of this country's largest law firms in a non-testifying expert capacity to assist on issues of damages, economic market factors, jury selection, mock trials, use of financial modeling in valuing complex settlement alternatives, assisting in the preparation of other expert witnesses and valuing complex settlement alternatives. CSI has also been asked by the courts to serve as a court-appointed special master and neutral expert arbitrator.
