Dr. Michelle Wolpov, PT, DPT, MBA, ATC, CSCS - Physical Therapy Expert Witness

Dr. Wolpov has practiced in the physical therapy industry for over 35 years, and she specializes in the outpatient orthopedic setting. In May 2002, Dr. Wolpov purchased a fitness studio in Manalapan, New Jersey. Game Shape Fitness Center is an exclusive one-on-one personal training facility combined with a fitness membership clientele. That same year, she Founded a premier physical therapy facility called Professional Sports & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Associates, LLC, inside of the Game Shape location. In 2017, both facilities were merged and became “Game Shape Physical Therapy & Fitness Center”. Game Shape is a Rehabilitation Network Participating Location with the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in Physical Therapy.

In 2005, Dr. Wolpov began consulting as an Expert Witness in the physical therapy and fitness industries. She has handled over 200+ cases for both plaintiff (60%) and defense (40%), writing expert opinions, and testifying at depositions and in court. Her other expert consulting services include: litigation consulting, research and investigation, insurance fraud expert witness work, and consulting in standards of care..

Dr. Wolpov's extensive Clinical Experience includes providing the most advanced, evidence-based treatment services to patients of all ages. Dr. Wolpov has consistently risen through increasing levels of responsibility within the rehabilitation services industry. She has opening and directing start-up physical therapy facilities throughout New Jersey. Dr. Wolpov also has strong business experience in the areas of: strategic planning, financial management, operations, marketing, quality control, documentation auditing, policies & procedures, human resource management and business development. She was also recently nominated for the prestigious Athena Award for her commitment to the community and the advancement of women in business.

In 2017, Dr. Wolpov set out to promote new legislature to the general population, by authoring the book, “Direct Access to Physical Therapy: The Secret Revealed”, as she hopes to help people understand the benefits of seeing a physical therapist first for musculoskeletal problems. The book is available on Amazon and Kindle. Having achieved all of these milestones, Dr. Wolpov is preparing to sit for Orthopedic Board Certification (OCS), through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS), in the near future. She has taken over 80 continuing education courses in the areas of orthopedics and sports medicine.
