Dr. Ricardo Salvat, Optometrist

I have 38 continuous years' experience in optometry, currently licensed in four states, Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, and National Board of Educators in Optometry-Board Certified. I am a clinical skills examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, and I served as an adjunct clinical instructor for the Indiana University School of Optometry. I am credentialed through the national agency used by most third-party insurance providers, and I have no record of malpractice or any state board disciplinary action. I exceed the requirement for Continuing Education (CE) nearly every year, frequently attending conferences to remain current in evidence-based optometry. I am able to access and research the literature and apply it to cases, and I have had training in statistics and probability. I am experienced in peer review, and I have performed pre-trial review of cases pending litigation. I have guided attorneys with respect to conducting a deposition during the discovery phase. I am on-call, readily available, and am able to travel to any location with short notice.
