PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

2017 to present — CURTIS — ROSENTHAL, Inc., Director, San Diego and Imperial Counties. Curtis – Rosenthal, Inc., is a regional commercial real estate appraisal and consulting firm  that performs field appraisals and review appraisals for: Commercial Mortgage Lenders (Banks, Life Insurance Companies, CMBS, Pension Funds), Public Agencies (City Governments, Transit Agencies), Law Firms (Real Estate Litigation, Estate and Trust,     Eminent Domain, Inverse Condemnation), Corporations (Valuation for Financial Reporting),   and Accounting Firms. Properties appraised include: retail, office, industrial, apartments, condominiums, mixed-use, special purpose, agriculture and vacant land. Areas of experience include the Southwest, Southern and Northern California, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico.

Services include real estate appraisal & consulting, eminent domain, easements, estate and tax planning, appraisal review, portfolio and foreclosure analysis and fraudulent report consulting. Expert witness in Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Francisco County Courts and Federal Bankruptcy Courts in California and Colorado. Clientele is from both the public and private sectors. Since 2012, Eric has also been affiliated with several firms working on valuation of right-of-way projects in the Central Valley and Southern California.

1984 to 1992 – Regional Appraisal Manager   –   Great Western Bank, San Diego, CA

Supervised and completed assignments for the Major Loan Department in Southern California. Properties included major commercial, industrial and residential projects, both proposed and existing in California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas and Florida.

1982 to 1984 – Staff Appraiser – Home Savings of America, San Diego, CA

Performed single family residential and residential income property appraisals in San Diego County. Many of the assignments included upper-end, high value estate homes, both existing and proposed.

1976 to 1981 – Staff Appraiser/Director of Marketing – Hemet Federal Savings, Hemet, CA

Supervised the appraisal operation in the Riverside Metropolitan area. Performed construction inspections for on-going construction projects, both residential and commercial projects. Promoted to Director of Marketing with responsibility of managing the business development, branch location, marketing and advertising for the company.
