      As a well-established pharmacy expert, I lead company compliance efforts, designing and implementing internal controls to protect pharmacy and organizational assets. By reviewing and evaluating medication practices against frequently changing regulations, I develop corrective action, enhancing patient safety and decreasing the risk of external government agency involvement.

      My areas of expertise include pharmacy management and pharnacy/ pharmacist standard of care, regulatory compliance and risk management, medication use and safety,  organizational management and improvement, pharmacy policy and procedure development and implementation, counsel, and advocacy, negotiations and contract analysis. Likewise, I provide consultation on drug product liability and including failure to warn, side effects, adverse effects, drug interactions, and pharmacology. I also possess project management, government agency liaison, reimbursement and quality assurance skills.

I have helped pharmacy departments remain compliant and avoid government intrusion through the development and management of regulatory adherence programs and procedures. My skills enable me to oversee audits and investigate compliance-related citations, as well as deftly respond to requests for information from healthcare and government regulatory bodies.

I am listed on the Los Angeles County Superior Criminal Court Panel of Approved Criminal Experts (PACE), and  have contributed to several industry publications, including; Quarterly Newsletter of the Forensic Expert Witness Association (FEWA), “The Rationale for Use of Pharmacy Experts in Matters of Prescription Product Liability” and Current Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy, “Legal Aspects of Psychotropic Medications in Oncology.”I also appeared on the TV Guide network, providing expert commentary on multiple celebrity cases involving drug safety and regulatory issues.
