Forensic Accounting - Former IRS-CI Special Agent

I am a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner, and forensic accounting is all I do. I am the Principal of Nordlander CPA, PLLC, a forensic accounting firm in North Carolina that serves attorneys and their clients nationwide.

Before opening my firm, I spent twenty years as a Senior Special Agent with IRS Criminal Investigation. My job was to follow the money. I reconstructed years of financial activity from bank records, invoices, and ledgers, then explained what I found to prosecutors, grand juries, and trial juries. I received awards from the U.S. Attorney's Offices for the Middle District of North Carolina and the Eastern District of Virginia, and from the North Carolina Department of Public Safety. Today I work as an expert witness or consultant in litigation matters.
