As a former President & CEO of two Reinsurance companies and of a Captive Insurance company, I have in excess of thirty eight years of experience. I am intimately familiar with the workings of Insurance and Reinsurance companies, including Lloyd's of London. To date, I have conducted 394 Mediation's of varying disputes.I have served as a Party Appointed Arbitrator in twenty Insurance / Reinsurance disputes and two additional disputes as the sole Arbiter. One arbitration which was trifurcated by a Federal Court where I served as a Party Appointed, the total sums being disputed were $6.6 Billion, the largest Insurance /Reinsurance dispute in the history of the United States. In 2002, I formed George G Zimmerman LLC as an Alternative Dispute Resolution company, conducting Mediations, Arbitrations, and providing Expert Witness Testimony. I have written and published four books in different genre,a CD based on the events of September 11, 2001. Lastly, I enjoy playing competitive singles tennis and golf.
