Dr. Gellman is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery with a certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery.
He is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Orthopedic Association, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Eastern Orthopedic Society, Southern Orthopedic Society, the American Medical Association, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Gellman is currently editor-in-chief of Medscape's eMedicine Orthopedics, the premier online medical text.
He has been the official Hand Surgeon of the Florida Panthers Hockey Team
Dr. Harris Gellman is an orthopedist in Coral Springs, FL  specializing in Hand and Upper Extremity surgery. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Coral Springs Medical Center and Miami Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. He received his medical degree from Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and has been in practice for more than 30 years. He is currently a Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Nova Southeastern University and has been director of Hand Surgery at University of Southern California, University of Arkansas, and co-director at University of Miami.
