Prior experience includes bankruptcy matters, merger & acquisition due diligence, insurance claims, business valuation, identification and tracing of misappropriated assets and determination of damages in complex commercial litigation.
He has been involved in CPA malpractice litigation from both the plaintiff and defendant perspective. Former "Big 8" audit manager.
Consults with legal counsel in identifying documents required for discovery, preparing interrogatories and evaluating expert witness report strengths and weaknesses. Assists in preparation of line of questioning of key witnesses and/or experts at deposition or trial.
Domestic relations experience includes valuation of closely held business enterprises, quantification of existent personal goodwill, development of the marital balance sheet, separate property tracings and determination of true economic income for purposes of spousal and child support.
He is able to simplify and explain complex accounting and financial issues to juries and the Court.
