Recently retired (7/1/18) from the Clinical Practice of Emergency Medicine at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco. Continuing to perform Expert Witness Services as CA law allows. Board Certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) through the year 2028. Former Board Examiner for ABEM. Professional Associations include the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM), the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) and the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). Fellowship status in both AAEM and ACEP. Now currently certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. Attended Medical School at Washington University in St. Louis and elected to AOA upon graduation. Straight Surgery Internship at Barnes Hospital, the Washington University teaching hospital. Neurosurgery Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) while serving as a Lt. Commander in the USPHS. Completed a Neurology Residency at the UCSF School of Medicine in San Francisco.
