Ivan Arteaga is a former auditor, a portfolio manager, and an investment research analyst. He has earned his C.F.A. and his C.P.A (expired). Ivan began his career in a Big Four public accounting firm. He then honed his financial, valuation, research, and analytical skills at a highly regarded well known investment boutique as a Wall Street research analyst and global portfolio manager. This encompassed experience as a global portfolio manager to various mutual funds and hedge funds. As an analyst and portfolio manager he has developed a particular expertise in the telecommunications industry and has performed appraisals and valuations in the U.S. local exchange carrier industry, US and International wireless telephone industry, the competitive telephone carrier industry, and the data storage industry. His telecom sub-industry experience extends to satellite, wireless, spectrum, broadband, telecom, media, and internet valuations and appraisals. As a global investor, he has participated in many public offerings, private offerings, and event driven investment situations such as, mergers, acquisitions, spinoffs, divestitures, and restructurings.
