James S. Twerdahl

Jim Twerdahl has had nearly 40 years' experience as a business executive in industries dealing with technically sophisticated products. He was the CEO of three well known consumer electronics brands in the audio high fidelity industry: speaker and car audio manufacturer Jensen Sound Laboratories, formerly a division of Esmark and Beatrice Foods; speaker and professional audio manufacturer JBL Incorporated a division of Harman International Industries where he was also a Senior VP and Director; and audio and video electronics manufacturer Marantz Company, a division of Cobra corporation. He also served as an officer of most of the industry's leading trade associations.

Mr. Twerdahl was also chairman of Mayco Colors, Inc., and Coloramics, LLC, companies that manufactured products for the ceramic glaze and art paints for the hobby, craft, art and school markets. They pioneered products for contemporary ceramics studios.

In his current consulting practice, he focuses on small company investment banking, mostly sell side merger and acquisition work and capital raising for early stage companies. He also does a great deal of consulting focused on marketing planning and overall corporate strategic planning. A division of his business partners with T-Link (Hong Kong), Ltd., to do sourcing and quality control inspections in China for U.S. manufacturers and importers.
