Retired Sergeant and Assistant Area Commander of the Commercial Motor Vehicle Unit of the Iowa State Patrol (34 years), Jeff Dietrich is certified in North American Standard Inspection by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) in Level 1, 2, and 3 inspections. He was also certified in Motor Coach, Cargo Tank and Hazardous Material inspections, and trained in Post Crash Inspections of commercial motor vehicles.
Mr. Dietrich is also experienced in non-CMV and CDL (Commercial Driver's License) testing for the Iowa Department of Transportation-Motor Vehicle Division and has conducted thousands of traffic stops and
CMV-MCSAP inspections, as well as crash investigations.
