Board certified advanced practice registered nurse and a board certified advanced forensic nurse, board certified forensic nurse examiner, and board certified sexual assault nurse examiner for pediatrics, adults, and adolescents. I earned my Associates degree in nursing from Fort Scott College. My bachelor's degree in nursing from Pittsburg State University, master's degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and doctorate of nursing practice from Maryville University-Saint Louis.

I am currently the manager for a comprehensive forensic program that provides medical forensic examinations to all patients that disclose injury sustained in altercations with others, abuse and sexual assault.

Recognized as a local and national speaker on the topics of abuse, neglect, medical malpractice, negligent death, strangulation, and sexual assault.
