John C. Villines, MS, ICPS, CPP

Nationally recognized expert in crime prevention and security management; 30+ years providing expert and consulting services to attorneys, businesses, government entities, and others.

Academic background includes: post-graduate work in Statistics at Harvard (relevant in Daubert-related testimony); MS in Security Management; and BS in Urban Studies.  Board Certified in Security Management, Physical Security and Investigations.

Appointed by Governor Perdue to serve on the Georgia Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies in 2003, he was elected by his colleagues as Chair of that Board from 2004 to 2007 and again in 2010; re-appointed by Governor Deal, he continues to serve as of 2015.                                                                                         

POST-certified instructor for advanced and specialized training of police officers, he maintains current board certification as an instructor for security and investigations.

Mr. Villines developed the Crime Prevention Specialist training program for the State of Georgia and authored a chapter in the text used by the International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners.
