Joseph P. Monteleone

I am available as an expert witness, consultant, arbitrator or mediator in a wide variety of insurance coverage disputes. My principal area of expertise is D&O, E&O and professional liability insurance, wherein I have written numerous articles, books and other publications, as well as making over 250  presentations on topical issues. Given my present position as a partner in a firm that has a predominantly insurance company practice, most of my expert witness work has been on behalf of insurers, but I have done and would consider engagements on behalf of policyholders subject to clearance of conflicts. My testimony has been widespread on a nationwide basis, and includes familiarity with the law and regulation of claims handling practices in a number of states, as well as industry custom and practice re policy provisions and the underwriting process.
