Prior to coming to Philadelphia, Key spent the bulk of his career in Chicago where he held high level positions at Grant Thornton LLP and LECG/Smart in their disputes practice. Prior to that, he was a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where for more than 11 years he specialized in providing analysis in connection with insurance and reinsurance disputes. Before his consulting career, Key worked for more than a decade in the financial services industry (insurance and investments).
Key is a CPA licensed in Pennsylvania, a CFA charterholder, a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and an Associate in Reinsurance (ARe). In addition, he has an MBA in Finance and a BA in Economics.
Key is a prolific writer and speaker on issues impacting the insurance industry, is often quoted in the insurance industry trade press and has been interviewed by A. M. Best TV.
