Michael Atkinson is a Managing Director in Protiviti’s Restructuring & Litigation Services practice. He has over 20 years of experience providing troubled company, expert witness, and financial litigation consulting services. He provides and has significant expert witness experience relating to the areas of accounting, damages, business interruption, economics, financial and similar issues. Mr. Atkinson has testified or submitted expert reports relating to valuation, fraudulent conveyances, business interruption, re-characterization of debt to equity, lost profits, and plan feasibility, among others. Mr. Atkinson has provided testimony numerous times before the U.S. District Court, Bankruptcy Court, Circuit Court, arbitration and depositions in several states.
