I quantify damages resulting from defamation and harm to reputation. There are almost always economic damages, if not to date, then in the costs of reputation repair going forwards – I make itemized projections of these in both reports and testimony, including damage caused by AI engines such as GoogleAI and ChatGTP.  Conversely, if your opposition is claiming speculative or inflated economic damages, these can often be effectively rebutted in a report or testimony.

SERVICES: Expert witness reports and/or testimony in defamation of character cases, including both libel and slander, as well as portrayal in a false light and right to privacy cases. This leverages 30 years of experience as a credible journalist and one of the first practitioners of search engine optimization, as well as 20 years of consulting directly with end-clients on emotional distress issues. I am familiar with most aspects of defamation, from gossip campaigns to online defamation and reputation management. Particular areas of expertise:

Few. I am a completely independent EW, and I am not inherently a “plaintiff's expert witness” or a “defendant's expert witness” – I render facts and/or opinion based on the facts of the case.
