Board-certified public health physician, occupational and environmental medicine. From 1998 - 2008 was attending physician at the Clinical Center for Environmental and Occupational Health, Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute (EOHSI), Piscataway, NJ. EOHSI is an Institute that sponsors research, education and service programs in a multidisciplinary setting that fosters interaction among experts in environmental health, toxicology, occupational health, exposure assessment, public policy and health education. EOHSI serves as an unbiased source of expertise about environmental problems for communities, legal professionals, employers and government in all areas of occupational and environmental health, toxicology and risk assessment.
As the director of the Information Toxicology Project funded by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, led the EOHSI team that wrote the medical toxicology and health effects sections for approximately 1,400 hazardous substances fact sheets, which is part of the New Jersey Right to Know program for hazardous chemicals in the workplace. These fact sheets are widely distributed to work sites, individuals and communities that request for them.
Areas of research include the role of air pollution in cardiovascular disease, work organizational factors and their effect(s) on health outcomes, workplace tobacco policies and hazard communication in the occupational setting.

Provides occupational and environmental medicine services at the War-related Illness and Injury Study Center (WRIISC) as well as consultation to legal professionals, corporations and third parties regarding public health issues, occupational and/or environmental injuries and illnesses including cancers, cardiac and pulmonary disorders, neurological diseases, endocrine disorders and complex musculoskeletal pain syndromes. Conducts workplace evaluations and walkthroughs, administrative medical evaluations, utilization, disability medical consulting and peer reviews. Provides causal analyses and expert forensic medical services.
