I am a Professional Engineer (PE), a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) and a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.  I have 50 years of experience in the design, operation, maintenance and management of chemical process facilities, and refineries. Throughout my career I have been heavily involved in process safety management and incident investigation. Since starting my own company in 1996, I have been providing process safety consulting and incident investigation services for the chemical, refining, pulp and paper and oil field industries. I am very familiar with the Recognized And Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP) and regulations that apply to these industries. Using my experience and knowledge, I am able to determine how well a facility complied with these standards and if failure to comply was a contributing cause of the incident.
