Philip P. Monteleone, CPA/CFF, CMA, CFM is a Director in Litigation and Forensic Accounting Services. His practice area includes serving as the financial and accounting expert witness through the calculation of economic damages in personal injury, oil spill claims, admiralty and commercial litigation, business interruption insurance, fraud and embezzlement claims, lost profits, shareholder disputes and a variety of other forensic accounting matters. Philip has over 20 years of experience working with clients at local and national law firms and insurance companies. His degree in Finance and completion of securities license exams enables him to also consult on business valuations, capital budgeting, investment decisions and disputes and serve as an arbitrator for FINRA. After graduating with honors in Finance from LSU, Philip earned a Masters in Accounting from the University of New Orleans, where he is a frequent guest speaker and Alumni Mentor. In addition to teaching professional education courses, he is an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University's College of Business. Philip is a Certified Management Accountant, Certified Financial Manager and is Certified in Financial Forensics. He recently served as Chairman of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants Litigation Services Committee and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants, the New Orleans Claims Association, the Lakeview Civic Improvement Association and Past President of the St. Dominic Men's Club and the St. Dominic Cross-Country Coach. Philip is active with various local charity groups and events, and was a member of the Board of Directors and Finance Committee for the New Orleans area Habitat for Humanity. Mr. Monteleone has qualified as an expert witness in several State and Federal courts.
