Harvard-trained professor of microbiology and molecular biology

I am a professor of microbiology at the Icahn School of Medicine in New York.  My research focuses on RNA interference, molecular biology, and next generation sequencing as it applies to various aspects of microbiology.  I am a Fulbright scholar and have been recognized by President Obama for my work.  Moreover, I teach both medical students and grad students and can frame complex ideas into a language that can be understood by all.
