30+ years of experience in the design and manufacture of film products and their conversion — printing, laminating and finishing — into product forms suitable for their intended application. Experienced in reading, understanding, and preparing product specification sheets as well as establishing BOM and selecting/sequencing manufacturing processes. Well versed in quality control methods and in laboratory testing to establish conformance/failure to re-engineer products.  Directed testing and quality control systems have applied GMP and TQM. Solid understanding and knowledge of film manufacturing and converting equipment and of the structure and properties of polyolefins and polythene as well as of a multitude of film structures, and the methods to improve and vary performance (barriers, stiffness, sealability, formability, clarity, strength etc.)  to obtain the simplest structure to fit the design parameters. Frequent seminar presentations and technical speaker at conferences on Blow Film and Converting operations including Latin PackGood analytical and problem-solving skills combined with outstanding relational capabilities allow me to integrate and relate well to others. Excellent communication skills and ability to explain/present complex issues to manufacturers and in simple terms. Perfectly fluent in English and Spanish.
