Dr. Troast is an environmental toxicologist. His practice area includes assessing risks from lead, cadmium, arsenic and other metals in residential and non-residential exposures to both children and adults, exposures to diesel exhaust, chemicals in drinking water including Lead, PFOA and PFOS compounds, pesticides including Glyphosate and Prop 65 issues. He has represented clients in both State and Federal Courts and has been accepted as an expert under Frye and Daubert.
Dr. Troast was a senior scientist from the USEPA with experience in the hazardous waste, site remediation, toxic substances and pesticides programs. While with the Superfund program he directed the scientific committees responsible for risk assessment procedures and practices for lead, arsenic and asbestos.
Dr. Troast has represented the USAID on missions to the Kingdom of Jordan to aid and assist the government in responding to environmental hazards and providing expertise in enhancing public safety.
