I am an electrical expert with over 50 years of experience in the electrical construction and maintenance industry. I have extensive experience in fire and impact damage repairs and have worked cases involving shocks with both claimed permanent damages as well as electrocutions. I have been called in by multiple insurance companies to evaluate claims and elimination of electrical as a fire starting heat source. I have extensive deposition experience as well as trial experience however most of my expert witness cases are settled pre-trial and I would like to think based upon my depositions. I stay with the truth and advise my clients what our changes are of winning cases so we can get out of it with the least damages if we have weaknesses or to plow forward and get the correct settlement for our client. We have prevailed every jury trial I have testified at.

We had the pleasure of retaining Robert Tucknott as an expert witness in a case involving the origin and cause of a fire due to the faulty installation of a heater in an apartment building.
We talked to many individuals who knew Mr. Tucknott and he came highly recommended. The issue under consideration in our case was very complicated and we wanted to make sure we hired an expert who was knowledgeable and very thorough. Mr. Tucknott exceeded our expectations and it was his testimony at deposition and at trial that assisted us in recovering on behalf of our clients.
From the inception of his retention, Mr. Tucknott conducted thorough analysis and guidance. He performed extensive testing both at the site and on additional electronic parts damaged by the fire. Robert was always available for phone call and emailed and called us regularly with new information.
