Robert D. Bruce (Bob) has over 40 years of experience in sound and vibration measurements, analysis, and control.  He has worked in almost all of the manufacturing and process industries.  Following graduation with the S.M. and E.E. degreee from MIT, Bob began his consulting career at Bolt Beranek and Newman working first in engineering acoustics and then in architectural acoutstics and noise and its control.  He serves as Principal Engineer at CSTI acoustics.  Bob has consulted for major government agencies such as the Army, Air Force, EPA, OSHA, and NIOSH.  He is retained by both defense and plaintiff attorneys.  Bob has worked on numerous environmental noise problems as well as occupational noise expsoure problems.  In addition, he has expertise in the analysis of structure-borne noise and failues due to acoustic fagigue.  Bob works for Fortune 500 companies, universities, architects, engineering firms OEM firms, and EPC firms.
