Currently Robert is an independent expert witness for all commercial properties, asset and property manager, and investment brokerage representative for select clients in Texas and California. He oversees a team of agents, and between $20,000,000 — $60,000,000 in annual transaction volume. He has handled dozens of commercial properties and countless leases and has an understanding of the industry standards and nuances that surround this complex issue, as well as the typical misunderstandings and conflicts.
Mr. Kehiayan has either testified or given deposition as an expert on commercial real estate cases regarding landlord/tenant disputes, broker and landlord standard of care issues, fiduciary duty, Fair Housing Act, lease disputes, and more.
Mr. Kehiayan graduated with honors with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Pepperdine University. He has earned the prestigious Certified Property Manager designation (CPM®) from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and has been sanctioned by the California Department of Real Estate to teach and advanced consumer protection continuing education course. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker and Realtor® in both California and Texas, and has handled real estate transactions in several states. He is an award-winning published author of trade articles, and served for several years as an officer of the Executive Council for the Orange County IREM Chapter, and has received numerous industry awards.
