Professor Litman has rendered his opinion professionally in numerous legal cases for both plaintiff and defense, involving Nursing Home standards of care, wrongful death due to overmedication, medical malpractice, pharmacy malpractice, inappropriate use of medications, polypharmacy, drug reactions, coroner report reviews, improper medication monitoring and unlabeled use of medications.Professor Litman has more than 20 years of experience consulting in over 50 Nursing Homes (List of Nursing Homes) working closely with the Medical Directors, Directors of Nursing, Administrators, Care Plan and MDS Coordinators, as well as the Nursing staff R.N's, LPN's, CNA's, Dietary Staff, Rehabilitation Therapy Staff, Housekeeping staff and Maintenance (Life Safety) staff. As an integral part of the Nursing Home team, Professor Litman has years of inside experience into the standards of care needed from each department to provide proper patient care.

Professor Litman also has extensive Retail Pharmacy experience as a Pharmacy Manager over his 30 years of practice. He has filled well over 500,000 prescriptions, performed over 100,000 medical chart reviews, and participated in over 200 state and federal (AHCA and HCFA) surveys.

Professor Litman is also certified in Natural Medicines, and is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. He is an adjunct Professor of Clinical Geriatrics and Advanced Clinical Geriatrics at Nova Southeastern University, College of Pharmacy and Ohio State University, College of Pharmacy, and Palm Beach Atlantic, College of Pharmacy. Professor Litman has over 2 decades of experience in the long term care setting, as a hands on clinician as well as a professor training hundreds of Pharmacists and Consultant Pharmacists currently practicing today.
