Steven Doughty, ASA - New England Gem Appraisals, LLC

Steve Doughty is an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and has earned the designation of a Numismatic Scholar from the American Numismatic Association (ANA).  Steve specializes in the appraising of rare coins, paper money, as well as modern, vintage, and antique watches and pocket watches. Appraisal services for insurance valuation, estate taxes, equitable distribution, charitable donations, litigation, divorce, and trust planning.  Litigation consulting and expert witness services in matters of appraisal review methodologies, market research, the standards of the Uniform Standards of Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and the American Society of Appraisers.  Steve is a member in good standing with the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA), the American Numismatic Association, as well as a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from California State University, Fullerton.
