Victor P. Republicano, Jr., CPA, has been an accounting and consulting practitioner, since 1977, providing professional services to business owners, corporate management, lawyers and their clients, throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, U.S., and abroad.

Among his distinguishing achievements is his Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and his membership in the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE)

Mr. Republicano has extensive experience in providing litigation consulting services and expert testimony in a wide variety of matters, including accountants' malpractice, breach of contract, business valuations, construction claims, contract disputes, economic loss, employment law, intellectual property disputes (copyrights, patents, trade secrets), investigative services (accounting, finance, business and trade practices), legal malpractice, lost profits, marital dissolution, mergers and acquisitions, personal injury, shareholder disputes, and stockbroker issues (stock suitability/unsuitability, unauthorized trading, etc.).  

His litigation consulting projects have included damage assessment and analysis, inspection and reconstruction of accounting records — in addition to financial investigations, business valuations, pre-trial preparation, expert testimony, witness preparation, courtroom assistance, and post-trial consultation with counsel.

He has served as an expert witness in over 100 cases, representing plaintiffs and defendants, including matters in State and Federal court, Administrative proceedings, State Bar Court hearings, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) forums.  He has served as Court-Appointed Referee and Special Master.  The cases in which he has been retained have afforded him the opportunity to work with legal counsel (Criminal and Civil) from throughout the U.S., trial psychologists, private investigators, and other forensic experts, including computer, financial, handwriting, photography, and others.  The magnitude of claims asserted in the cases in which Mr. Republicano has been retained, range from $100,000 to $500 million, while professional time on such matters range from 40 to 2,000 hours.

He also has significant experience in conducting audits (in excess of 40,000 hours) on entities ranging in size from $1 Million to $3 Billion; in addition to dealing with fraud, misappropriation of funds, wage/earnings claims, et al.

Mr. Republicano is experienced in business consulting, accounting and auditing, publicly traded companies, and litigation services. His industry experience includes: Ag-Chem, Construction, Distribution, Financial Institutions, Healthcare, High-Tech, Intellectual Property, Manufacturing, Network Marketing, Non-Profit Organizations, Professional Services (Architects, Engineers, and Law firms), Real Estate, Restaurants, Retail, and Securities. Mr. Republicano has assisted a variety of companies with Initial Public Offerings, Private Placements, and other statutory filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (S.E.C.). He also has provided consultation to management, entrepreneurs, and other business owners regarding mergers and acquisitions, inventory control systems, credit and collections management, and property lease analyses.

Mr. Republicano has also assisted clients with strategic and business planning and budgeting; developed compensation plans and financial forecasts; and, negotiated bank financing and debt restructuring. Additionally, he has investigated, discovered, and reported fraud at a number of businesses, including entities in which he held board positions. He has extensive experience with, and responsibility for, areas vital to the management of a public accounting practice, specifically, and business, in general, including: Business Development, Career Counseling, Client Management, Engagement Management, Practice Development, Personal Development, Firm Marketing, Staff Recruiting, Scheduling, and Training.
